Tandi is currently the Artistic Director of Improguise. After graduating from U.C.T drama school in 1995, Tandi joined TheatreSports under the direction of the brilliant Megan Furniss, and has been playing and teaching improvisation ever since. She is an established actress and voice over artist.
In 1999 she moved to London and in 2001 she co -founded “Two Foot rule’’ an Improv company in London performing a show called ‘Off the cuff’ in Battersea. Whilst in London she also worked extensively as a drama teacher, working for The Bigfoot Theatre Co , directed annual Theatre for Youth Projects at the Roundhouse in Camden and worked with The Natural theatre Co, masters of Invisible theatre and performance Art.
She has taught and led workshops in Improvisation at schools, festivals and in business in London, parts of Europe and South Africa. In the local corporate world she has worked with a diverse range of clients from, B.P, Vodacom and Old Mutual to Musica, Johnson and Johnson and Vital Health.
Tandi is also a qualified Reiki and laughter yoga practitioner. She freelances as an acting and Dialogue coach and currently works as a Lecturer in Improvisation and Voice at The Waterfront Theatre College.
